helpin a friend out here.he has a nissan and he has gone tho 3 alternators and 3 battery in 3 weeks.his alternatrs keep dieing i thought maybe a short somewhere.does anyone have any ideas and ways to test

Sounds like cheap batteries, cheap alt..or a massive short.

he has a sri its been on for like 2 months and prob ha sbeen happenin for 3 weeks

Honestly, I really don't know

Normally, if there's a problem with the charging system it's either the alt. or the battery.
But if both are failing, my only reccomendation is to check the alt. belt.
Other than that, take it to sears or Pep Boys and have them check the charging system.
