I tell you what noob compare the two following builds and tell me who got more bang for their buck:
1: NA:http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14707
2: Turbo http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13293&highlight=afaccord

:rly: noob?

First off i have no idea what point you trying to make. iHazSnail's build includes swaping out the auto trans, which i suggested. And AFAccord's accord is 5 speed to start out with. I'm not discouraging him from going all motor(if that is what ur suggesting), i'm just saying that the combination of nos, cams, and auto trans seems pointless to me. And plz tell me y i am a noob...u hurt my feelings

If you would like my 2 cents, i think you should stay away from the nos and ditch the cams. I would leave your car stock unless you swap out the auto trans for a manual. Save up the cash and go turbo. The cam is not going to do much for you unless you tune the fuel and ignition. My point is that the money you are going to put in, is not going give you a major boost(no pun intended) in hp.

actually thats what it looks like you're discouraging him from doing. your stated point is that dollar for dollar the turbo build is better.... i strongly disagree. that is why you are a noob. if you were not a noob you would have come to the logical conclusion that without proper headwork the power gains are going to be minimized

I am honestly not racing people from street lights. I want to make a little more acceleration from lets say 20/30 to about 75mph. As far as the transmission goes ive had it replaced once so i dont have the original transmission in my car that is so prone to faliure. The orginal died 10k after i bought it, the swap the dealer did has been going strong for 70k miles. Im not a pussy ive owned many manual jeeps, i just want to keep this car an auto, as a matter of fact i have an 02 lancer oz that is a stick which im considering put boot on and building the motor so i can run 20lbs of boost. Point is i dont want that much speed and i dont think a 55hp shot of nitrous will kill my transmission.

Also the AEM EMS will only work with a stick so i cant pick that one. Does anyone here have any experience with the greddy computer? Cant find anywhere saying m/t only.

CrosCntryAccord, you need to learn how to read and really understand what people are saying instead of extrapolating "stated points".

boorishid, i agree with BlkCurrantKord, the nitrous will def not going to be nice on the transmission. Any piggyback system like AEM's or Greddy's will work with the setup that you want. Even the standalone version of the AEM ecu will work (it has the capability to control automatic transmissions). Its just a matter of wiring it up. I still think you should stick to your i/h/e and leave the car the way it is. If you really want to do nitrous i suggest some serious research as it would suck to blow your engine.

Listen to crosscountryaccord,Blkcurrantkord and all others. They are more experienced than you with this particular car okay.

It doesnt matter if you changed your tranny. If it was rebuilt to the same specs, it has the same faults. It can barely withstand it's own power, let alone with spray.

If you want a mild increase in power and you got the money, then just do it with-out headwork.

And who cares about an OZ lancer, I eat those for breakfast.....LOL jk

Good-luck though with your plans though =)
