alright, so I got a new radiator put in, but now the block is smoking. I just filled up the radiator with water and coolant and put new oil in the engine, but i drove it probably 5 minutes after and the block started smoking. it was coming from under the cylinder head. i'm thinking it's the head gaskets. what do you guys think?

is there any coolant/oil spilled in the bay? if so, wipe them down.
check again.

if the bay is clean, is your water temp. normal?

i agree with nexTOme, check for any fluid residue oil, coolant, water, if it didn't smoke before why would it after you install a radiator. and most likely there is some kind of fluid on the head (from you oil change) just an idea... that would be the only thing ic ould think of

I agree that there is more than likely some oil, coolant, or some other contaminant on your block/heads. I bought a used engine for my accord and the first time I started it I had smoke coming out from what I thought was the heads. Turns out it was just some compound that the company had sprayed on the block for anti rust or whatever, went away after a day or so...just watch your temperature gauge and oil level.

I'll bet it's some spilled oil on the downpipe.
Whenever I changed my oil, I used to spill a little oil on the downpipe.
Wait till the car is cold and use a wet rag to rinse off teh block and exhause components
