engine swap, f23a1 to f23a4

well i planned on using the intake manifold from the ULEV because it has less miles on it and is alot cleaner. they look to b the same, not sure though. like i said b4, im going to start putting it in on monday so i will kno more by then. i dont know what else needs to be swapped over. i guess ill put it in and if it runs like **** ill buy the ULEV ecu

The manifold on the F23A4 is different than the one for the F23A1.

i know that the exhaust manifold is diffrent on the ULEV, but im not sure about the intake. id rather use the ULEV intake mani if possible

Well ya...we know the exhaust manifold and o2 sensors are different. Everything else is the same though.

Swapping intake manifolds is just extra work but it's your car. Do what you want.

i dont think u understood what i was saying/asking. the ULEV came with a clean, and newer intake mani on it. thats why i was asking if they were the same. i didint want 2 swap the f23a1 mani over to the ULEV if i didint have to. whats diff about the o2 sensor? are there more of them, located in a diff place or is it just a diff part number o2 sensor

I'm just saying, the intake manifold is the same. Could just clean yours and get the same thing as swapping for less work.

The o2 sensors are different.

Could I use the f23a4's exhaust manifold with a f23a1's o2 sensor?
