EZSDE1476 key remote

Folks

My EZSDE1476 remote keys have become very rigid and I have to press them 'extremely' hard for the car to open. The battery is perfect and was recently replaced and tested with a multimeter

Any tricks to repair these rigid buttons to become more responsive?

Get a new one and don't press the buttons as hard this time. Also what is that number for? OEM keyless/ aftermarket entry or what?

How old is it? The connections will wear out over time.

Buy a new one (got mine for $15 on Ebay). Or pry it apart and drive yourself mad.

The remote says this on the back FCC ID EZSDEI476, RPN 476A

But I can't find programming instructions for a 98 Accord. Does anybody have them?

If a new battery didnt do the trick, it could very be the contacts. $15 is cheap. Id go that route.
