I guess it's like that Hayabusa smart...people just do it for kicks. lol

Or they have some hidden agenda to swap VTAK motors into every car made..lol
The club seems huge in Japan..

Probably a used M3 motor is much more expensive than a F20 in Japan.
And they might have some regulation issues on top of that.
Um. And in terms of labor, would it even be easier? I mean it's not trivial to
change a I4 for a V6 in our cars, why would it be in a BMW?

It might actually make sense for them.
Like why do people put American V8's into the old Datsun Z cars?
