So I own an SE coupe 4 banger f23a1 A/T:( I have dc headers, aem short ram intake, custom 3" exhaust my car is slow as dirt I love my car i drive it like its fast but reality sets in when when every car that wants to play smokes me. I have dreams of doing.a full build on the f23a1 and turbo but those plans are on hold for now I have a baby coming so long story short what else can i do to the car to make it faster and dosent require a turbo.I have 2000 to play with and engine swap is not in the question thanks for your help

You can buy a complete turbo kit for less than 2k from russianred. Check out his for sale thread. Its a pretty damn good deal. Comes basically plug and play.

Other than turbo and swapping the head you would have to attempt doing a n/a build. Swapping most of the internals and possibly boring 1 over.

You can get a spare motor and a nitrous kit for under 2k. You won't get very far with 2k. That's the only thing that's going to make your car move without doing a serious eng. build and or going with a LEGIT & RELIABLE turbo setup. Well at least for a while (hence the spare motor).

Kevo, you can probably get your car reliably turboed for just over $2,000. I am selling a whole kit right now for under $2,000, and you would probably need to get an exhaust pipe made and get re-tuned. I can also help along the way. Let me know.

Why would I need a new exhaust pipe if I'm already running a 3" exhaust ?piping which is hurt my power so I heard

If you have a 3" exhaust already then you're all set - that's more than perfect! I made 214 whp 223 wtq with my turbo setup, though this is capable of much more.
