well in my rant, i was kinda stating that there is a border around 250. at that point, your car is no longer just a DD, its a full on project. good bolt ons; small turbo kit; big shot nitrous will yeild around 250fhp in our f23 engines.

now if you planned on dropping 15k into an engine/tranny/suspension or wantedto make 400whp.... then you might as well get a DOHC engine for easier and cheaper parts. there is only a select few us that are willing to push our family cars beyond the life they were meant for. you, Stinker, Drift, Egi7, Darkside, pirateMcFred, NotoriousB and myself are apart of that group.

f23 parts: f22 valvetrain; k20 pistons; f23 rods. << custom
h22 & h23: there own parts. <<< plenty of ppl making parts

I applaude the guys that are going to push our economy/family sedans past the base specs. The embarassment that will be felt buy the guy that trys to pull on you at the light. I know my boy cryed for months about a quote on quote groccerry hauler (98 sedan running nos) smoked his mitsu. :peace:

It happened to him twice. The second time, he really got embarrassed. The owner had his woman and his kid, who was in a car seat in the back. My boy thought he had him at the light, but he said he heard the wheels on the Accord spin when it hit second and then it was gone. Nothing but taillights.

i'm loving the DD on the Accord. it's pure fun and at the same time experimental. that's why what we do on the F23 is fun because no one has done it, at least not widespread. it's not like...Oh..H22 Swap in a CRX.

you know what i mean.

question: can i get a cam shaft, cam gear tuned with S-AFC?
