Fog Light Issues

Ummm... No... lol! Do the fog lights only come on when you turn the low beams on? Do they turn off when you turn on the high beams?

Not a problem buddy! How many miles have you driven since clearing the code?

maybe 60 miles since i cleared it
the fogs light up with low beams or high beams, it doesn't matter
my first guess was the two wires you plug into the harness on top of the steering column, but I double checked and they are both pinned out properly
at least from what I can tell. Assuming the "harness side view" in the instructions was the back side of the harness where the wires go in

There is an issue then. The high beams should shut off the fog lights. I will try to check into this best I can.

Another weird thing, my low gas light comes on when I turn my fogs on....

is that to tell you that they are on? or wtf?


That's right, running fog lights will kill your gas mileage unless you're running an electric hybrid. JK

I wired my factory fog lights to run with high beams. Really help when running the back roads.
