No OEM comes with brackets aswell, OE replacements come with wires, bulbs, fogs, 4 zipties, 4 screws, and the relay.

Go with OEM. Pay to play. Fork out the extra cash and just pay for the real deal.

Yes, the glass is fragile. Ive barely had mine on for 6 months and I already have to replace one. And at $94/ea, they can get pricey. Ive tried the Lamin-X thing and unless I did it wrong, that wont work. The bulb burns the cover. Id either suggest a few layers of clear packing tape or.....IDK.

And granted, I use mine ALL THE TIME. And I take long road trips, so they're on quite often and I do a lot of highway traveling. If it were less or more in town, Im sure they'd fair a lot better and last a lot longer.

Mikey, you don't have an HID kit hooked up for you fogs, right?

If you are using them that often, it's probably that your bulbs are getting hot and burning the film, probably nothing wrong with how you set it up.

An HID kit should help with the burning film problem.

Also, with your current setup, I wouldn't suggest the clear packing tape, it would make a worse mess than the LaminX.

I was just thinking that, lol.

Yeah, no HIDs yet. But see, if I put HIDs in, they're gonna be 3000K, so I wont need a yellow film. Maybe just a clear film. HIDs can still get hot as well. I think I need to only use them when I really need them or when Im showing off. :lawl:
