Yeah I never use the feature either. I did before I had HID though.

And I never leave the fogs on either, HID or not it's still unnecessary wear and tear.

Exactly.

Given the fact that our cars are 10+ years old, no point in speeding up the aging process.

Make sense? You really didn’t know this? I am surprised...:lawl:
Oh ok. Yeah, I know about that. I just dont use it, lol. Maybe if I had halogens I would but, meh. What's the point. Im so used to turning them off and on on their own, that I just do it. It is a cool little feature though.

If only Honda added the 'cool' features of a reliable V6 tranny and PFM and Driver/Passenger windows that had auto Up/Down.

:coffee:

I guess heated seats, PF/heated mirrors, and auto up/down windows would have cost more than Honda wanted to spend to make the Accord in 1998.

But I'm convinced the auto transmission was outsourced to two gorillas with a welder and a sledgehammer.

"Express" windows, on both driver and passenger sides is something thats just now coming out.

Auto down on both was probably feasible, but not auto down AND up on both.

And yeah, the TL got heated seats and mirrors. Wtf?

Indeed.

Such a shame, the above list combined with an optional black interior for the sedan would have shot their sales through the roof.

Sometimes you have to spend a little to make alot.

The 'brilliance' of Honda, my friend.

Spend a little to make a lot...why would a business want to do that?? Surely they don't want happy customers willing to pay top dollar. :lawl:

I think the other part of it is that over time, the Accord has become more "luxurious" and offers more features since it is, afterall, Honda's flagship car. I think 10-20 years ago Honda was keeping their cars cheaper like what made them appealing in the first place, and they didn't want to step on Acura's toes. But now that Acura has Super Handling AWD, crazy complicated safety features, and all the latest electronics, Honda was willing to give the Accord a little more...which is why it is now bigger and more expensive than it ever was. That's my take anyway.

Not a GM fan, Derek?
