I haven't modded my car but technically it's their car, and will probably go to my brother if he ever feels the need to get a license. My parents know I have wanted to drive since I was like 7, and know i'm out there washing the car always keeping it clean. My dad has mentioned buying new rims because he knows i've been contemplating it, and wouldn't care much if I modded it. My mom would just tell me to ask my dad because she wouldn't know what it does. haha

loll my mom worries about me and about my car breaking down, she thinks my car is one day going to get stuck over a bump cuz i am so low LOL

my rents do not care much some times they put in there two cent,but im 25 i make good moneyi spend it on little stuff hear and there my mom said last time to my dad you spend money on stupid **** too(ciggerets) you spend tripple what he spend,he spend 5 dollars on light that will last me 2-5 yr while you 5 bucks is got in 1 hour and is killing you lol so yeah they are prety cool about

That's pretty cool man. If he is supportive, i'd go for it, unless the car is defineatly going to your brother, even if you mod it. Or if you want another car, then i'd save my money until it was yours.

my parents think i dump too much money into my car. i keep all my original parts (even old brake pads and rotors!) and my mom complains cause its taking up space in the garage. My dad doesnt mind as much. He thinks its rediculous but he doesnt complain as much. I jus need to get around $1500 then i can buy coilovers (they're around $1k installed, but i like to have a couple hundred in my account for whatever else). My dad was kind of iffy about that too, but when i explained the problem with riding on springs and stock shocks he kind of agreed to it.

LOL I'm 21, going to college, and I never hear the end of it from my dad. My mom doesn't give a sh!t. I've only done 3 things to my car, and each time my dad has to be a smartass about it. "So, now you've tinted the tail lights. Now what? What does that do for you?" I'm like wtf dad, its for the look. But he just doesn't get it. "So now that you've got that cold air intake thingy on, what does it do for you? Why would you want to put headers on your car; to go fast? Why do you need to go fast?"

my dads is all for it since his porsche is beefed up byond belief lol though he always makes his comments like "ur car never be good as mine" or "u wish u had my car" or "hahaha u suck" gosh i love my dad hahahha hes so positive lol

mines is pretty chill with mods, and she helps out too <3 ... she wnats me to mod teh rolla. hahaa


as far as parents... my mom is w.e abt it.. and my dad used to trip out...

when i had the accord i was 17 (now im 19), i did my 1st blackhousings, and my dad took the keys away for 2 weeks....

i got into an argument.... take the keys away

i talk back... take the keys away

i dont do good in school ... take the keys away..

i go out too much or dont come home... take the keys away...

but by the time i finished hs, my dad stopped caring... he knew he wouldnt win...

and then after i started parting out he laughed at me and said.. "see i told you it wasnt worth it"

but he liked my c2s though. hehe
