Mom dosen't really care, as long as I'm not putting all of my money in the car and that it can still get her from point A to B.

Dad is super cool with it, he used to mod his cars when he was younger too, except he mostly modded the engine. These days he tells me not to put too much into it.

ROFL..

My mom :
-Trips about the sound the headers and intake make.
-Gets mad if i buy something exterior wise and says i wont know how to install it
-Tells me that the mods on my car WILL get my car stolen (i agree since theres no alarm)
-Says im a showoff cause of my rims..

Dad :
-Likes the fact that i mod my car, but doesnt want me doing it. He wants a "PROFESSIONAL" to install everything for more $$.
-Asked if i could get an exhaust (apexi) and trips out
-Wants to trade me cars with his 7th gen and my 6th gen.
-overall is ok with me modding my car, just no racing he says. Even though he does it coming home from work in his 7th gen.

Man, Even when i bring up ideas of what to do to mod my car my mom is like "again wasting money on that car" and especially if i say i want to drop it and for some weird reason she finds out she's like, "lower?"(because it has a body kit it looks a little low, at least that's what she says. I dont think its low enough or even close to being low enough. Basically the main problem she sees with working on my car is that it's a waste of money though.
On the other hand, My dad is pretty cool with it. He even takes it sometimes to show it off and i'm like "hahaha.....you're old." he just laughs. He takes it to my uncle's shop alot. Mainly because my Uncle got a New S2000 and he shows it off and my dad just takes so he won't be left out. Oh well, i laugh at my dad now but, what's gonna happen when i hit 40? will i still have my Accord? Will i look like my dad does in my accord? hahaha......probably.
Well back to the subject, Basically with my dad........he's cool about me working on my car except when too much money is being wasted.(i haven't done anything to my accord in along time anyway, so it doesn't matter right now.)

What i've learned is that you just do what you want THEN when its all done you show it to your parents with a big proud smile.

And when i blackhoused my headlights i waited till after the bumper was off and the headlights were out of the car to tell my parents i needed to use the oven. :D
