This week I decided to show the car since it is finally all put together. It actually attracted a few groups of people to it, which was cool to see. Someone snapped the below photo & posted it to Fuel's Facebook page.
The weather warmed this past weekend so I thought I'd see if anyone was down there, to my surprise there was. Jon was in town, sure was nice to roll in with someone for a change. And not be the only Accord. Didn't take photos, buuuut here's a $525,000 Singer. And the Alfa 4C
Always some great looking cars at these events, pretty awesome. I would like to think the Accords got some type of attention, but in reality, did they? I only ask because there is such a wide selection of cars, and I wonder if appreciation is shown to all of them, regardless of worth.
I keep thinking about selling them to get a set of concave wheels and paint them white. Not sure if I’d regret it though. Best looking Celica of them all imo. Kind of? http://bringatrailer.com/2015/09/02/excellent-big-bumper-1976-toyota-celica-gt-liftback/ We were walking around looking at others, so you never know unless you stand near your own car watching it. Which would be lame . I can say I noticed my car started attracting more people when I opened the hood and left the windows down. Jon’s car was only 1 of 2 there that were wrapped, plus everything on it is so shiny so I don’t doubt it got attention. From what I’ve observed everyone shows respect and appreciation for all the rides there.
LOL, I suspected you weren't the type to stand by your car and watch to see who/how many come by to check it out. At least there is appreciation for all makes/models, and the fact you get to see such a wide variety must make it that much better of an event.
Lol. Well when the car does get love, it really makes you feel good. Yea you never know what will show up every weekend. Could be anything from a rusty rat rod with an LS swap to a Porsche 918. Great variety there.
