I just installed my fogs and have a problem. I wired them according to the diagram. After I ran all of the wires, I plugged one bulb in to test before I reassembled the bumper and tucked away all the wiring under the dash and installed the switch. Tested fine - the switch lighted up, fog came on with the switch, went off with the switch. Stays on independently, with the parking lights, with the headlights, and with the high beams. Turn the car off, and the fogs turn off (I was hoping that was a switched 12v source on the fusebox, good thing). So, I connected the other bulb and reassembled everything. Turn the car on, press the button for the fogs and nothing, the light for the switch does not light up either. No biggy, I figured I blew a fuse as was expected. My radio went off too (aftermarket alpine deck). I have checked the 20a radio fuse on the passenger side - good, parking light fuse on driver side - good, and cant find any busted underhood fuses. I replaced the 20a radio fuse with a 30a just in case. Still no radio/fog lights. So, I pulled the deck and checked the 10a fuse on the back by the wiring harness, that is good as well. Im stumped as to why my radio/fogs dont work? Those are the only 2 things that went out. Any suggestions?

also, I am using nokya 2500k bulbs in the fogs. They say 80w, and I am a little worried that the ebay wiring harness that came with the fogs wont be able to run them. After all, it is only one small wire that splits off to power both bulbs. and if its of any concern, I have a 2000ex coupe. Thanks for the help.

aye i had the exact same problem as u,i thot it was my fuse that blew cuz my radio/cig lighter wasnt working so i diagnosed it myself n checked if there was any power at the spot where the DIY says u should plug the fog light switch n there was no power there..
So i went to my junk yard n picked up a drivers side fuse box n changed it with my old one n my radio/cig lighter now works.id advice anybody doin this DIY that they shouldnt plug it in the power source for the radio/cig lighter but instead plug it in the one above the radio power source(that is the pwer side mirrors power source) but replace ur dide mirros fuse w/ a 10a fuse cuz ur 7.5a will blow if u turn on ur fogs. And with this way ur fogs will only come on when u turn ur key to ACC. hope this helps everybody else doin this in the future so u dont blow ur fuse box(drivers side)

nice write up, gonna have to get me sum of these and hook it up this weekend

thanks man, looks like you have an 01-02 so you might want to get the 01-02 accord fogs instead. wiring is the same though.

pretty sure no one's tried that yet so if you feel like experimenting you could.

So after you replaced your fuse box, did you plug your power source to the power mirrors and have you had any problems since then?
