Re: F2 Autolife - Coilovers "Function & Form"

exactly how the type 1's feel. I believe the type;s 1's i bought off of HT were 12k front nad 8k rear. Maybe that's why they were kinda stiff in the rear.

just to confirm, when youre saying stiff in the rear are you actually talking about the stiffness (ie. no swaying) or the rear is harsh? just want to make sure i understand your comment.
when i think about stiffness, im thinking about more control of the car when making turns = less sway, which i think is best.

Hey Ken still in the car business?

Chileno... yes sir.

Anything consider stiff, harsh or firm will always prevent sway. A stiffer suspension helps handling but it also depends on the valving and dampening of the shock; not to mention spring rate.

like i said , i had these same exact ones before, so itll ride nice and firm. The types 2's will ride softer on the lowest setting though like Ken said.

DO IT MONTY! you can sell yours D2's and get some money back too!

Just got the Type 1's installed. They ride very smooth. Was expecting a much rougher ride judgin from what some people had said.
