i think thats common. im lazy sometimes and let my gas get a lil low and one time i really learned my lesson. the gas meter was 3 notches up from the red and i still ran out of gas. so just keep it above a quarter. funny thing is i have a gas light and i have only seen it on once since ive had the car so that damn thing isnt accurate either lol

Just buy a Walbro 255, and don't let it run lower than quarter tank. While you're at it, buy some larger injectors from me :naughty:

sometimes the needle isn't reading the right amount of gas left in your tank, i have a similar problem except when i pump gas and when i know its full (i know how many gallons my car can fit) the needle doesn't go all the way up, it stays halfway right after i pumped full, then i changed my battery and now the sensor is working fine, i guess maybe try unplugging your battery and see if it works, sorry if it doens't work
