If electrical circuits are acting weird and inconsistent like that, it very well may be the multiplexor, or contact in one of three plugs going to the back of your driver's side fuse box. I have encountered these issues before. Are your exterior lights doing anything funky? How about your rear lights, are they on as needed?

yeah like everything works fine like the turn signals, the speedometer works, the buttons on the HVAC like the green lights that on when you click one of the buttons my headlights and tailights are on its the weirdest thing but when i turn my headlights the clock and the odometer go from being bright to turning off

Then it's multiplexor for sure. There are DIY's on here for changing it out and fixing it yourself. Just go buy a used working one at a salvage yard and swap it out. It's called the multiplex control unit, for the sake of technicality when looking for it.
