Just found out that my sisters bf's car got broke into at the college we go to and they stole his deck, sub/amp, and clothes he had in there so it got me really mad angry and paranoid now sooooo.....I want to upgrade my factory alarm and was wondering if anyone knew any good/decent alarms that include the sensor for when someone breaks the window? I've tried searching but am not sure what I am looking for. Any suggestions let me know. Thanks!

sorry, I have no idea. I'm just saying what I've been told by the installers I've been calling these past few weeks.

well you can just lower the sensitivity so if someone knocks your window it will sense it. or buy a newer 2 way remote type style alarm they usually have it i believe. but to be honest if they really want your car or whatever that is you have in your car they will get it regardless. just go talk to your local authorized dealer that sells alarm and make sure they have good reviews. you can check on yelp. i am pretty sure they are more then happy to help you out.

yea i got a viper 595 a few years ago when i was headin off to freshman year, i got the backup alarm (incase someone cuts my battery power it sirens for like 12 hours or something crazy) and a glass break sensor. the sensor is placed about where my right knee goes under the console and if i tap my keys on the window (any metal-glass contact) it will go off. vipers are the **** and they have so many options
