Not sure how long til the paint comes off...
I actually had it chipping off after driving today, but its because I didn't clean them well enough. So i re-did it all, and its on there good now. After running a ton of arrons(sp?) there were no probs.
Also, you can dress your tires with it, but it says to wait at least 3 days after
