Alright here we go, I got a response from Magnaflow and this is what it says:
"MagnaFlow cat back systems are 100% emissions legal and do not require EPA or CARB certification, as the systems are installed from behind the catalyst and do not alter the vehicle’s emissions system. They are sound compliant in all 50 states, but if you've done other mods, you may no longer be in compliance. We often hear reports about people getting cited for modified exhaust. In most states, these tickets are an inconvenience requiring you to get inspected at an authorized facility. 90% of these tickets are thrown out and candidly, some police officers are over-zealous and ill-informed of these statutes. Your only recourse is to have the system independently tested...manufacturer-provided certificates of compliance mean nothing in a court of law because Judges know that other modifications influence a vehicle's sound level."
So I'm thinking this eliminates my ability to bring in a form to prove its street legal, but I have headers and an intake so...I can't tell what they'd say if I went to court. *slides hand down face* damnit...
