yea idle air control thats what i need to get working. the yellow black wire is just the one that hooks up to the idle air control i was just looking over the prelude haynes and it listed the yel/black as - and the blk blu and + but maybe i just overlooked something. how did you run your idle air control once i figure out how you ran that i can get the car to idle

The Yel/Blk wire is the power to the IACV, the blu/yel wire goes to the ecu and the ecu will ground it using PWM. Thats really all you need to know. Make sure there is power on the yel/blk wire and that the other side eventually makes it to pin a9 on the p28.

There is a very good chance that the IACV is dead. The one that caem with my first motor was dead, and Ive done a few other honda swaps and found the IACV to be inop upon arrival.

If it mounts up, it will work. But make sure the wiring is correct before replacing it. Its just 2 wires.

Maybe about a cm of deflection. I run mine fairly tight for throttle response. But you dont want it so tight that its preloading the throttle aperture.

I also had to make a customer throttle cable bracket. I just remembered that.
