just cut a coil out, I know alot of people think its the wrong thing to do, but I have done it to many of my cars. I wouldnt just cut a stock spring, but a lowered spring , anytime. I cut two coils out of mine, and it was a 2" drop spring to begin with. It doesnt change the ride at all. I sugest using a upgraded shock though , for a better ride. tokico shocks are the bomb, my car rides damn near like stock. Good luck

You got tokicos...which ones???

Well, i'm first of all against cutting springs but that's a different issue. The nice thing about this is that you keep exactly the same spring rate, dampening and ride. You don't get stiffer as you lower, like a cut spring, or coilovers. The negative is that now you don't have the shock tab from keeping it from moving (which i doubt is an issue). Anyway, i don't think i'm going to try this, atleast until i've found out it's perfectly safe.

Yes plz. 'cause I wanna run on NEUSPPED RACE 2.2 F & 2.0 R so I wanted to know if Tokicos HP (They are blue color) would handle that. Illuminas (Color White) are a bit espensive so I;m broke also.

Well must people don't do it simply because it does change the spring rate even on a lowering spring. Cutting is better than heating though long as you don't get it too hot during cutting. Heating just messes up the molecules in the metal and throws the spring rate all to hell and weakens them.

^^^Totaly agree with shaved.
Heating a metal would change its properties causin the spring to be softer and weak.

reminds me of materials science class :)

except heating a metal and then cooling it quickly would cause it to become stiffer (harder) and more brittle.
