Installed another ulev engine, since headgasket was blown. Car starts up fine
idling at 1000 then goes up passed 2000 & then up & down pretty hard.

Got the P0108 code for MAP sensor high voltage, change it today & got the same results. I searched on here & most people cleaned & replaced gaskets on there Throttle body & IACV.

Thinking of doing the same but im pissed I paid a shop to install the engine & car isnt running right, so i feel like taking it back before i do anything myself.

New engine for a blow gasket? Why not just get a new gasket:thinking:

Enlighten me please

long story short didnt know headgasket was blown till it got real bad (car overheated once no leaks, still dont understand how it happened it had new hoses, new water pump & belts, new tstat, new ect sensor), cheaper to get another block then to replace headgasket & get head machined & risk having the same problem

I see. As for your engine, you might call that shop you took it to and let em know whats going on. Since they did the work, it would probably be easier for them to find the problem... Maybe...

thats what im figuring to do since they already knew it was idling high & the MAP sensor isnt it.

I originally didnt even want to fix the car, but i wasnt able to get a good deal on the other car i wanted

You have a vacuum leak somewhere. Find it! And you may have the MAP sensor connector plugged in to something else, like the tps.

I took the intake off to put in a new map sensor so i know thats connected right, i followed the harness off that around make sure everythings connect rite.

Dont see nothing out of place to be honest. Do u have a diagram of where the TPS is ? I googled and came up with nothing maybe ill look it up on majestic honda

Don't forget to bi**h out the shop you took it to for messin' up your ride :p
