So today I installed the FF 1s and everything went well, except the bolts that are supposed to be be going on the sway bar I believe they were to short and wouldn't even come threw so i can screw them on!!

is their any reason for that? or can i just tighten them up with the sway bars

here a pic of which area im talking bout i got it from the net

First off, that's not a sway bar bro. Second, if the bolts are too short you can either:

a) leave off the strut bar which you are intending on installing in this area,

or

b) install the strut bar and retain bolt length by removing the OEM strut tower braces.

Removal of the braces includes unfastening one bolt on either side where it is attached to the firewall - the access for which an be obtained by popping out the little plastic covers located on the windshield cowl.

Hope this helps, feel free to rep if you found this extremely useful haha.

If you can also, post a pic of your actual setup. If there is enough length to retain both the OEM strut tower braces and your intended strut bar underneath then just do that. If this isn't the case then you must sacrifice one or the other unfortunately.

What strut bar are you trying to install on top?
I dont think theres been anyone who hasnt been able to fit the strut bar on top of the oem arms in there. If you've got one of those generic strut bars that have two circle mounts on each side you can/should cut out the round holder so it looks like this (hence wont need to touch the oem arms)

look into getting a tl strut bar. they have the braces to the firewall and you can put a neuspeed strut bar ontop of the tl strut bar :ohsnap:
best option IMO
