So tonight i tried to remove my valve cover. Got all of the bolts free and everthing but i cant get the damn thing to come free. It says not to use a screwdriver to pry it apart on filtsai. So what can i use to pry it apart with? Its really stuck on there.

Got a rubber mallet? Hit it a few times with that. If it still won't come off stick a flat head screw driver under the timing cover side and pry it off.

if all else fails then tape up a screwe driver and pry lightly between the gasket and the valve cover, just not against the head

Well today when i painted it my uncle told me to use a razor knife and try and slide it in between the gasket and cyl head. Then slide it horozantaly to seperate the two. They were really stuck together since its been on there so long. Once the font was free i slowly pryed up un it to seperate the back.
