okay just put in a newer 2.3vtec motor and its reving up then down reving up then down and repeating till i turn off car . anyone know or had this before . theres no check engine light ive hooked it up to the obd2 code reader and nothing .... help pls . sensors are all hooked up fluids are full .

history

1998 accord sedan 4 dr 2.3 vtec 5 speed manual 430, kms on car . 130 kms on new motor . motor came out of a 2000 accord sedan automatic .

its almost always a large vac leak, with revs like that

Agree it might be a vac leak it might deal with idle valve tap on it and see what happen if any changes occur if non then it might be the fast idle valve since it a motor you purchase it probably needs to be tighten (letting air out)

is there any other vac lines other then throttle body area ????? and wheres the idle valve tap and fast idle valve ???? motor came out of a 2000 accord auto with 130 thous kms
