I installed my ddm slim kit tonight, ddm says it is 4500K, but it looks totally white with some blue in it ? I was hoping more for a oem color look, maybe I should get some 3000K bulbs... But I like the kit, DDM ballasts are awesome :)

Just for clarification, I want everyone to know there is NO baller status in this thread. That's a retro.... not some 8000k HIDs. lol.

HID high beams are useless IMO, because they take take to "warm up" and if you have to turn them on and off, you're not really going to have much of a highbeam. AND especially if you're putting in like 10,000k high beams, that means you are actually making the light output WORSE. fyi.

/debbie_downer_mode.

The baller status was for being #106:aznrun:

But what you said about high beam HID's is fact lol..so agreed

Could anyone give me a recomended list?
Cause I have been looking and there are so many different kits, I just don't want to end up with a ****ty one, nor do I want to spend way more than I should have.

I don't intend on retrofitting, I like the way just the HID's looks.

I can't decide if I want 6k or 8k either haha.

Does that go for the 4300K kit I want to use for my fogs so that the output will match my S2K retro?

:ugh:
