OK, please, a little help here....

My car is a 2002 Coupe.

OK, I put 6k 35w DDM HID's in my fogs because I love the DDM HID's I have in my headlights.

After hooking them up properly, they will not turn on. I plugged them into the ballasts on the headlights, and the bulbs light up. But they will not fire up when plugged into the fog lights.

The HID's are from DDM and are the correct H11 Bulb kit. Has anyone had any trouble with these plug and play kits from DDM in their fogs?

The bulbs fit perfect in the fog housings, no mods required, just the bastards won't light up. I've pushed and pushed to make sure the connections were tight as possible. But honestly I wasn't the happiest with the quality of the fit from the ballast to the stock wiring.

And yes the OEM fog bulbs work just fine as well, but I really want the HID look.

Can anyone think of anything??

The wires were backwards in my kit. Sounds wierd, but thats how it was. Black was power, red was ground.

Tried everything known to make these hid fogs work, short of cutting the wires, and voiding the warranty, they won't work. Flipping the plug, changing wires. Nothing. They light up when plugged into the headlight ballasts, but won't fire when plugged into their ballasts.

ANYONE else have problems getting their HID fogs with the H11 plugs to work??

Even though I lowered my low beams since the HID's are so bright in a stock housing, I still get folks who flash their highbeams at me when I drive by... However I usually flash mine back to make them feel like an a$$hole :)

I have never gotten flashed once, I'm a bit surprised myself. I think it just depends on where your headlights are already adjusted to before you install HID's, because I have had no problems and it's not like they're turned really low because I have great visibility.

BTW I just helped a buddy of mine install HID's in his 06 Sonata. We had to do some custom work to the dust covers, and finding places to mount the ballasts was not easy to come by...but the end result was amazing. Makes me want projectors lol.
