Hey guys, I have an EXTREME NOOB question. I've never dealt with this, so please don't laugh. :ugh2:

I installed my HID kit, everything works fine, except...

The bulbs, they seem that they aren't in there too secure and can wiggle a little bit. There's that stick thing on the bulb, is that supposed to be facing up or down? When the bulbs felt secure, that stick was facing the left. Help please!

When I had regular PnP HID I install the rod stick down. It just looks better that way IMO. You wont notice it anyways since the beam reflector is covering it. Plus its just the 3 screws holding it in, tighten it up more so it wont be wiggly.

I honestly did not know this. I have mine with the rod on either side. So it makes a difference for light output to have the rod underneath?

I remember that my D2S bulb rod need to be on the bottom cause there are 2 slot on the bulb end that will only fit one way. So I agree with what sketch said.

Yeah but with 9006 it can fit a couple different ways, depending on how you lock it in. I put it back in the same way it's always been, but that put the rod on the side. Does anyone know the actual reason that the rod should be on the bottom?

I rotated my bulbs a few times until I got an output pattern that I liked. I don't know if it really changed or not, but I thought it did.

if u look on the ddm website, their should be a color chart. but to answer ur question, 8k is more blue than 6k, if theyre both 35w.
