hid lights with projector headlights?

just ended up buying a passanger side headlight from ebay, i think i am going to stick with oem

I know that just putting hid bulbs in regular headlights is not truly an hid system due to the lights not having a cut off.

if I get the headlights that are projector lenses like these

does that work or do I need to get the projectors out of a headlight as in a 2004 acura tl?

dont waste your money on those, I hate those things, but now I am stuck. So far I had to remove the HID kit because the can't be aimed, switched over to Noyka H3 cosmic white bulbs.

The adjustment retainer popped loose so I had to open them once already to replace it, one of the led halo bulbs has blown, get ccfl if you want halo. Oh yeah that third bulb is in front a fender support so you have to almost pull to whole damn headlight off the car to change the 1156 bulb.

I want some regular black housing lights, but of course times are tough I can't afford some new ones...ugh
