I called the insurance company and they said hit and run are covered under collision and if I take it to their shop the deductible will be $400 with lifetime warranty. Insurance premium will not go up since I was not a fault.

Sucks that it happened but its not that bad man. Wash it with soap and water and use a claybar on it and see what's really left after.
Personally i don't think its worth an insurance claim where you'll be paying $400 anyz..

Both my rear corners have some fawkup like that from idiots in parking lots...i just clayed it, and touched up and its fine.

I'm sorry, but then again it's going to happen sooner or later. Does it have plastic missing in some spots? You might have to sand it all down after you clay bar it. And smooth everything out. But there are places that paint your bumper for only $75. So it shouldn't be that hard of a fix up. Hopefully it will be show room quality by the meet :D.

After compound: Damage is about 4 inch long. Too bad there really isn't a off the counter silver metallic paint that will match. I'm probably going to sand, prime and do my best to color match it and put a decal over it.

Going to sand and touch up the lip this weekend:

I also have to stop by the dealership to pick up a few rear bumper alignment clips and screw since they all snapped off. (Zipties FTW.. for now)
