I figured out how to do this the easy way..

1) Go to home depot and get 4 6mm 1" bolts, as well as those 1/2 white spacers.
2) Lift up the hood...i have dampers, so it made it easy, unbolt ONE SIDE AT A TIME and replace the bolts with the new 6mm bolt and the spacer. Be sure to put the spacer inbetween the bracket and the hood.
3) Do other side and your done...10 min job.

Just be sure to get the 6mm bolts, or else you might strip out the holes.

- Pics to come tonight...

yes...i want to ghetto rig my car exactly how the people in the magazines do it...yes thats it
your car is a 900 HP monster machine?

If you're doing it how the magazines do it, you'd get the $40 one and do it right. You gotta pay to play.

The only reason anyone should do this is if you can't fit your engine under your hood (eg: Civic w/ J30 Swap, TL with MDX IM Spacer).

Ahh, the ol JDM hood tilt. lol. Honestly, don't do it.

The only gain from that is to vent hot air out of your engine bay. But i don't think it's necessary for our cars. But go ahead if you want to do for looks though.
