I have a DC stainless steel header that i got used from someone on v6p, when i got it it was pretty clean/shiny. After about 6 months or so of use it started to turn brown kinda looking like it's oxidizing. How do i clean or polish it to make it look like new? Heres a pic:

Steelwool, or a wire wheel on a dremel or something. You really have to scrub at it but it just ends up turning brown again.

probably not worth the time unless i was showing.....but, is heat wrap a bad thing. I know it explicitly says the the warranty on the header is void if heat wrap is used on it.....

yes, heat wraps will shorten the life of the header from excessive heat... it'll crack easier with the wrap... i have it on my celica, but the header is OEm camry header.... so far so good...

Flat Black Jet Hot Coating?? I think they have a chrome-ish looking Jet Hot coating too.
