How to tint the back lights..DIY

I know this is a reallyyyy old thread but quick question if anyone still shecks it lol, if I buy black or smoke colored pray tint, can I spray it over the red parts of my tails and have it just a dark redish black? or would the red in my tails not be affected since the spar tint would be on the inside of the lens?

^^Don't spray it on the inside of the lens , it'll look like crap. 1 coat will give it a redish black.
Here's mine , there pretty dark tho.

dude order the vinyl from ebay it worked fine for me great results and its not too dark its a cherry red look!!!!and the best part you can peel them off if you ever need to..1 on the left

just spray the outside. i did it to mine and they came out great. And its really easy to find nightshades, at least here. Summit racing has a bunch of it here

nightshade is really easy to find here too.. i use it and since then i have started a trend for my town.. since i did mine all the guys i hang with are doing it too... but ya nightshade works great no need to clear coat or anything
