I still recommend clear coating and polishing it. Worked well for mine

I tinted the lights on my trunk only. I really wanted to tint the entire thing but i didnt want to lose the reverse lights, so i ended up taping the reverse.

These were on car not too long ago:

I used about 3 coats of niteshade then 3 coats of clearcoat. I then polished them.

I don't remember if below ones are same as both lol, had so many different tails.

They were too dark in the daytime as it's hard to see my brake lights during the day. I finally got pulled over one day for them. After that I bought a pair of $80 brake lights 7443 for my tails and they were bright enough during the day. Too bright at night.


My current tail lights are from Depo and I used two coats of the niteshade then 3 coats of clearcoat. I haven't polished them yet, but I plan to soon. No pic at the moment.
