Roy, before you open your mouth and talk **** you should know what you are saying. They actually make Stance coilovers, and they have decent bump and rebound dampening. They are literally the same coilovers, and they are good for the money. Honestly if I were new to the game I'd give them a shot.

Get them and try them out. I haven't heard any reviews for the 6th gen on them.

They seem pretty high quality to me. These HSD's don't look like the typical rebrand coilovers of F2's, Ksport's, etc.

And I've heard good things about Stance coilovers as well.

Now, why not suggest AMR's, even if he is "new to the game"?

I'm not asking to start anything over AMR...again.....but it was a set of coilovers that you were happy with........better yet, knowing what you know about AMRs and Stance......why did YOU go not with the Stance coilovers, "new to the game" or not?

Basically, "Inquiring minds want to know", Kevin.

Because Stance does not offer a lifetime warranty nor do they offer an application for our cars. Hence, you would have to go for HSD anyway, meaning that they are a more cost effective route for people who do not wish to spend 1600 on suspension. I will suggest AMR to anyone that wants to know about them since I still enjoy mine quite thoroughly, but this thread isn't about AMR now is it?

So please, spare me.

I was asking a legit question....if you're gonna be all sensitive about it, let me know, so I know to expect that your gonna get all moody........

I also pointed out that I wasn't trying to start an 'AMR discussion' either.....so yes, this thread ISN'T about AMR....good eye.

Anyway, back to the point at hand, thanks for at least answering my question.

In my mind, when I read it, it sounded snarky. So you got a snarky remark in return while answering your question. The main reasons I chose AMR over other brands are that they include the lifetime warranty and the quality of parts is much higher than others. Plus I know the valving is legit. So that's just my reasoning on it, and when it came down to it I got them in a group buy. I never paid the full retail price on them before so when a discount was available I hopped on it too.

If I had to get something like 6 years ago, when I first bought my Teins, I'd probably get HSD or something else that would be comparable since they are basically a couple hundred more.
