Fight(you can search youtube for the videos), burnouts, donuts, and stupidity on the road. Cops ended up showing up from what I heard. I have no doubt in my mind LP Field (location for the meet, and where the TN Titans play) will never allow the event to be held their again.

One reason I am glad I no longer have my accord. I hate the import scene, it is 2 immature. Which is kinda depressing because I met some cool people at the meets. But the stupid people ruined it for me each year. IA has gotten 2 big for the staff that puts it together. They really need to rethink how they operate in the off season. I honestly am surprised nobody has gotten seriously injured at these meets.


Side note: Was it windy at the meet? Because when I was driving into work in the morning it was really bad.

yeah people did act immature so it's best just to keep to yourself and friends. hahah it was my first meet so I obviously love every bit of it. Also I'm young so I'm a little immature as well ha. Umm the weather was actually nice. There was some wind but not to over the top. Had to take my hat off though.

ummm one of the dudes apparently backed into the other guy (that is the story I heard) I was right there near it but didn't know what was going on lol.

yeah i didnt find out about the fight till afterwards. 3 cop cars showed up cause of whatever they were doing on the road and evidently threatened to tow peoples cars.

the wind was horrible earlier in the day. got hit with several dust clouds and some kid almost had his cf hood snap cause he kept leaving it propped open

This is what makes CanAm all that much more appealling!

Well you can not really compare a small meet like CanAm to IA. They are 2 completely different setups.

IA fall meet is probably the smallest of the 3 and still pulled in 2600 cars. So with those high numbers you get the trash.

No, of course, but it's the same as with the Hot Import Nights events they used to have here, there is always someone doing something stupid to ruin it for everyone else.

The police used to always come and shut it down, and eventually they just stopped having them.

For the record, CanAm could reach similar numbers if everyone came through and actually supported the event. Especially for the amount of Forums that it gets posted on.....give it time!

and Canam is different, at least people with an IQ of at least 100 show up to it.

I wish I could say the smaller weekly meets were different, but there are certain clubs(Civic/Teggy owner's) that really don't know how to just show up to a meet and keep things under control.

Same thing with larger events, you can almost always tell when certain clubs are there by the loudness of the coffee can rattle when they leave the event.
