Some people are just so biased and not true car enthusiasts.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe...Nice car
TOYOTA Supra.....awesome car
FORD SVT Cobra...Awesome car
CHEVY Vette ZO-anything...AWesome car

Stop thinking just because you drive a Honda that all others will bow down

A true car enthusiast can appreciate a positive aspect of a car from.....any automotive manufacture

LMAO

Are you seriously comparing a Genesis to an SRT??
Try again.

Try to find a vehicle that retails between $40K-$45k with over 425HP & 420Ft, lbs of torq.
A heavy car it is (4,063lbs) , but what car in its class is under 4000lbs?

Might wanna research a little before you write ppl off. Giving people an attitude isn't exactly COOL. 2012 Genesis has a V8 (438hp if I remember correctly) and will be available on both coupe and sedan. And it sure as hell won't be over $45 so once again, I will answer your original question with my answer of a Hyundai Genesis.

BTW it looks nicer than a brick on wheels and some Chrome trim :)

If its aimed to take on the v8 mustang I'm sure the 300c srt8 is much heavier and shouldn't be a problem. And yes I'm a fan of all car manufacturers, but its not the greatest car out there IMHO

TBH, I always wanted a 240sx, EK hatch (99-00), EG6 (SI) hatch, 4 door GSR.

All that I found that was under 3.5 was either beaten up, salvage, high mileage on chassis, flakers. Woulda got a clean title SI EPB for 3.5 straight, but he always flaked on selling.

Then my dad found me this ugly CG5, I never liked it until I drove it and researched about it. Now I ****ing love this piece of metal. 87K, clean title, original paint, 1 previous owner for 3.5k, I think the guy got ripped off haha.

I wasn't GIVING an attitude, just stating that for the options that are offered with a 2010 SRT8 and for the asking price it's pretty hard to find something comparable with the same options, power and price.

Now, since you want to talk 2012.
The 2012 SRT- is expected to have a 6.4L (compared to the current 6.1L) HEMI V8
If the current is pushing 425HP, the 6.4L will probably be pretty dam close to 500HP.
But that's a 2012 model, which is what you brought up when you mentioned the 2012 Genesis
Once again.....No attitude
Just stating that the SRT8 maybe a brick on wheels, but it's a fast, inexpensive brick on wheels when compared what Mercedes, BMW, Lexus & Audi are offering.

Take a look at what the 300c SRT8 is offering to get a better understanding
Clicky
And remember, the car only weighs 4,046lbs
Most competitors are well over that
