While it appears that they have fixed the issue with the transmission mount, they have quite a bit of work to do on their customer service quality. To say it's sub-par would be the year's biggest understatement. It has been a month and I have put in over 6 calls and 4 emails with the simple request: "I have a set of your $350 mounts sitting on my table that I am not able to install because they do not fit my car. I noticed that the mount I'm having trouble with has been redesigned. Please arrange for a replacement to be sent out when I return the incorrect mount." Nothing...still nothing...:wtf1:

i only bought them because at the time i thought they were pretty known so they must have pretty good quality control ... that and they are the only company that makes them for 6ga's ... even though it was a bad experience because i had to make some of the mounts fit ... i hate to say it but it was worth it

Well, they came through eventually. I have to say that in the end the service was good because it appears that the problem mount has been redesigned in a way that it should fit. I have yet to get around to installation. Did it take WAY too long to get the replacement?...sure did...but at this point I'm just happy to have it in my possession...:)

The new mount is on the left:

Where the bump hit the chassis, it appears that the bend will allow sufficient clearance to fit. I hope to have it installed in a couple of weeks. I did get around to installing the rear and it was a royal pain; the remaining two mounts can at least be reached without going under the car.

Having the prototype car here, never had so much problem installing them - they were tight, but not that bad. Only mount we went back and forth with a few times was the top mount located on timing belt side with 3 holes. I know they have a newer design than mine out. The other two were snug.

Thankfully the only remaining ones are the transmission and driver's side. The rear was a royal pain to say the least. I'll post pictures when I get this mount installed. It won't be too long; my transmission mount isn't in good shape and needs to be replaced soon so I'm glad I finally got the replacement.

do you have to send the other mounts back?

I did not send in the old mount. I bought the original set from Innovative directly so at some point I assume they looked up my order to verify that I had ordered them.

Thanks for getting the originals made! It was your thread on these mounts that introduced me to their products. There was a comment made on my last phone call that the "crimp" versus the bend was made due to ease of manufacture. I don't know if that's a change from the set you had made or not. It seems to be enough of a change to allow for a nice, flush fit against the chassis.

i see ... i bought them new through a friend so i'm assuming i can't get squat
It might be worth calling them; just be aware that it takes a while to get answers. Also don't count on return calls. I don't know that the transmission mount I got is in their rotation or not. I'm sure they'd know what you're talking about, though.
