interior clock light out?

I noticed that my interior clock's light never goes on and I never knew it had a light until someone told me. If I pull the dash out behind it, will I be able to see the bulb behind it to see if it's broken or not? How do I know if a bulb is dead or not?

new ones like a buck at honda dealership. you just pop out the clock and this little circular thing is what is replaceable. didn't look like a lightbulb to me, but it is. you just give it a quick twist and it comes out.

flathead + cloth under the light then pop it out.

no, pry right under the clock and it'll come out
