If you don't bleed the AC lines for the whole process, then I'll give you even more props :D.

You have no idea how jelly how some of us are, lol.

One engine out, AC still hooked up. I think I'm going to drain the power steering from both to use the CL pump, hopefully that's it.

Why so jelly? It was either a CL, or just a tranny for the about the same price. I was just going to let my car sit on the side of my house for a while and get a genesis coupe  But I wasn't sure where I would be at with a job in the winter, back to school, or in the summer. Financially it was the best route for me.

what he said^ hope the tranny is good :ugh:
Yea like I used to live in CA I moved back to PA like 1 year ago. Why you ask about tho car. It's low mill age but the under carrage is wrecked and the engine is knocking from me forgetting to change the oil in it. Ended up burning it up and before I realized I need to change it the engine started knocking really bad. I checked the oil and there was none in it. It was too late. It still drove but really badly. Them luckly some rear ended me and the car flew over a curb and destroyed the under carrage. As well as the pass anger rear side quarter pannel truck bumper everything in the rear passenger side. Sucks to cause I put in a decent exhaust system and some cheap strut bar I put on it. Didn't have the chance to pull them off oh and my double din CD player was left on it as we'll. is that the same car your talking about? If so where did you see it. Like you saw in person?
It's white with white interior and has a double din CD player in it. I bought it stock of some old guy with 14k miles on It about a year ago. Then slowly put the exhaust on it and strut bar as well as the CD player. It was nice when I had it but after the car accident it wasn't worth buying it back from insurance. The engine also has a crack in it. So engine needed to get replaced. That's why I didn't buy it back main reason. The only thing worth of value in the car was the exhaust I bought off eBay for 100$.
that really sucks, sorry dude:( who wouldve guessed a 47k engine would be toasted? check craigslist, j32a, and jdm engine sites for another j32 or j35(one with some sort of guarentee or proof of working) they're pretty cheap luckily, you can swap the manual engine parts over.

That's really interesting, it's got pulleys a lot more done to it that what he had said, tien springs, didn't hear anything wrong with the engine, and it didn't look to bad underneath.

Also it doesn't have white interior, car was from nj New York area. Never registered in Cali.

Edit- love free auto check reports. Car was never sold with 14k miles on it. His timeline does not match up. In 06 it already had 30k miles on. In New Jersey that whole time. 13' had 45k and now registered in pa. I don't believe it is the same car. And if he did own it in pa it was only for 2k miles so the oil should not have been burnt up to damage the engine.

In another post he says his car is an 01. Maybe he is confused.

he also had a post about an 02 cls, he may also be a car ***** lol, i hope you're right and it's the wrong car, inspect the hell out of that engine and put dye in it to look for a crack, it's just that everything he describes just about lines up like the double din and the exhaust, strut bar, 47k, and quarter panels, probably meant beige not white as there is no white.

longshot but i found this number with the same username on a prelude forum from 09, could call it and try to get a vin or something if it's him idk 413-636-9490

does the car currently run?

Yeah the cur runs great I drove it around the neighborhood a few times no weird noises or hesitation.

I think it's weird how he said only the radio, exhaust, and strut. I know acuras don't come with tien springs stock. And how can greddy exhaust cost $100?

So I checked the underside of the car, no damage. No leaks, the engine runs fine, I've driven the car around the block and let it run for a while, it did not overheat. There is no coolant in the oil. I am very certain this is a different car than what the guy from acurazine was talking about. He was probably trolling for a good deal of his own.

Back to the swap:

Took off the center console, 8 screws, and some clips to get it off.

Then getting the shifter off

Pulled the linkage out, put the wheels on and rolled it out. Pulled the CL in and got it jacked up. Draining and starting disassembling tomorrow.

I was looking at the subframe of the CL and comparing them. It looks like the CLs front subframe would fit on my accord, and I can keep the stock dampener. The rear dampener seems to have just a block on the accord, with nothing going to it, I'm hoping that it will bolt right in. Anyone have any experience using the stock dampeners from the CL?
