I don't know if I've ever heard what the Comptech S/C sounds like in motion, now that I think about it. Which seems wrong, given how many cars I've seen that had one.

I have never used the auto CC function with any regularity in my 6GA. Unless it's extremely hot or extremely cold, my windows are down and I'm lettin in whatever's outside. Right now the blend door actuator is broken, so I can manual switch the car to hot or cold, but the actual CC dials are useless haha. Time to switch it over to heat for winter...or you know, replace it.

I still have an auto CL-S cluster sitting, always liked the way they look. I modded my 6GA cluster since I never did the CL-S one.

Nice CL-S wheel, that was always one of the best cheap and easy mods for the 6GA.

Hey Bense, good man. Driving the car 2-3 days a week. Gets about 22-23 mpg even with occasional boosting. I have to be careful not to floor it too quick in 1st or it'll spin the tires a bit and bounce off the rev limiter. It does have the clutchmasters light flywheel tho. so its to be expected. all in all its much more fun to drive than when in the CLS.

So quick update, got a brand new 1st gen J series block. It's not stamped j32, but its the same part number that acura uses for 03 cls block currently in the car. Plan to pull the heads and have bronze valve guides as well.

Before I do that I'm pulling my built h22 block from 00 prelude and swapping in a used H23 blue top. It'll be a basic build, since its just a commuter car.

So, the h23 bluetop got refreshed, painted and dropped in the prelude a few weeks ago. Runs pretty good for 20+ yr old motor.

Got another shipment of J series parts: p2r ported P8E heads with bronze guides, ported lower runners, supertech int valves, ferrea exh valves and crower forged rods. Need to get the valve guides reamed and should be good to start assembly of the new motor. Probably going to run it N/A until the 1st oil change. Few teaser pics...

Looks awesome -- 00-01 PDE head too. How much did you get that H23A for?

Hey Bense, like $1300 shipped. Wasnt that good of condition cosmetically. Lot of oxidation and some corrosion from salt air. last one i got was like $1100 in 2016, it was much better condition and came with a harness, ecu and alternator. Inflation and scarcity i guess. Here's a cleaned up pic. Didn't use the beat up blue valve cover.

H23 is mostly stock, except stage 1 skunk2 tuner cams and balance shaft delete kit. The h22 it replaced (2nd & 3rd pic) is sleeved, has forged rods, forged +1mm high compression pistons, skunk 2 valve train and stage 2 cams. But. i think it needs valve guides or stem seals replaced. Eventually I'll do something with it.
