Lit odometer (Yes, there's a major hot spot, and no, at this moment in time I couldn't care less):

Stick a peice or regular computer paper behind the odo. Worked for me.

how hard would you rate doing led conversion and is it expensive..i think i might have to do the same...every car i see do it makes me want it more

Cost $13 for the Polarizing film. If you want some, send me a couple bucks and I'll send you some of what I have left if you want. It's not hard, but it is time consuming to scrape the original stuff off carefully. I did my odometer without taking the guages apart, which may have taken me a little longer but I felt like there was less chance of me cracking the glass. Total time invested on the film was about 45 minutes I think. The LED's have taken me about 90 minutes+ so far, but I'm going slow with them and modifying bulbs instead of buying the kits, so it takes a little more time, and a little more trial and error to get it where I want it, and its still an ongoing project. I think I've spent about $20 so far for the LED stuff, and I've still got several LED's and about 10 resistors left. I have a plan though that is going to require a few more LED's, but I'll get them when I get the initiative again. For now I'm on break for a few weeks, lol...
