I'm lowered, and sitting on hubcaps as well, and it doesn't look out of place or anything.

Feel free to flame away about the tail lights, but I like 'em.

As long as you like 'em, that's the only thing that matters, right?

How far are you lowered and what springs/struts or coilovers?

A bit more than 2" in front, 1.5" in the back. Currently on Tokico illumina shocks/sport springs. Not sure why the front dropped so much, but I like the results.

Only profile pic I have handy is this one: pic. I've got the same hubcaps you do :) .

Jeffro I have yet to see your car, and in a week I'm hoping that I'll see it. But right now, I just hate those taillights man. I'm sorry if you hate me now, but I'd go with some stock cleared out ones ;) But, everyone starts somewhere, and I know you're car will turn out. I mean hell, I'm on stock wheels, stock height, stock exhaust. I just decided to get other **** before some stuff.. lol which I'll explain to you later.

I agree, drop that, even on the stockers. It will look alot better and will be much more fun to drive. I love the color, can't wait to see some progress.

Alright, I've been trying out some new relatively minor things lately. Some of you have asked what the polarizing film looks like un-lit, and some just want to see what it looks like. I'm in the process of tinkering around with an LED complete conversion, so I haven't posted pictures, but I think its about time. Here is what the polarizing film looks like in my car now:

Un-lit clock:

Lit odometer (Yes, there's a major hot spot, and no, at this moment in time I couldn't care less):

And when I used the flash the first time, it made my odometer look like it had no led in it whatsoever... weird... Anyway, this is what it looks like minus the blue and with polarizing film:

If anyone is interested, I've also got my center dash just about completely LED converted, as well as my cruise control button. I just need to get a red or orange led to light the defroster light, and I need to decide what I'm doing about my thermostat, because I don't want it all blue. I might try a white led there, but I haven't decided yet. Next is going to be the rest of my dash, and add a few other touches here and there in my own style. One thing I'm doing is I'm converting ALL the bulbs, rather than soldering directly to the board or any other way. I'm cheap that way. That's why this process has taken me a week so far. Who knew the dash bulbs would be so hard to figure out how to modify? My odometer light was my first try, and now that I have that done, I'm going to move on to the rest shortly. Maybe I'll post some pictures when I get to the rest of them, but I don't know.

Other modifications since I made this thread include a CAI. Go me! I'm finally making some changes. I'm so proud of me... :D

Eternal Blue Pearl FTW! Slow and steady wins the race, so don't be in a hurry to slap things on all willy-nilly (i was watching tv land). As they say in carpentry, measure twice, cut once. Like if you were building a new home for yourself, plan out your build, decide what you want the end product to be like, and fill in the specifics as you research, research, and research.
As the always insightful talon mentioned, suspension is key. I was afraid of dropping it too much, but have learned these cars can be dropped 2 inches without looking dumped. But either get a full coilover kit or match some good springs with shocks that can handle the higher spring rates (nothing worse than a bumpy ride).
Interior, imo, is the best place to spend money when you do it right. So i like the small LED project you've got going. You're in your car more often than you're out of it, staring at it, so make it a place you'll enjoy being in. 6th gen accord interiors leave a lot to be desired, so you can do a lot in whatever direction you want to take it ("race" style with Recaros and such, or "luxury" style with leather goodies and wood stuff).
