hey man, to get it to be shiny with rettle-can clear do a couple of coats regularily...

on the third/last coat, go ape**** with the clear, be very careful though, when you do this it's easy to get overspray/drips

did it on my friends front lip and it turned out sick (you can see a reflection of urself in it)

but like i said... very tough to do it right so i do not suggest it unless you really know what ur doing

im pretty experienced with auto body you NEED to do wet coats of the clear with 15 min flash time then wet sand compound polish and wax after it cures also the primer should be about 3 light coats

find your paint code in your door sill badge, then froogle it, you can actually purchase honda spec touch-up paint in a rattle can. it's perfect for color-match on smaller parts, like your lip therrr

like millz said, lay the last coat of clear heavy, then hit it quick with a blow-drier or electric heater to lay it down smoother. you can get the gloss you're going for that way. gl

Wet sand and polish and it should become more glossy. You aren't satin silver are you? I have used color matched Satin Silver that costs about $25 a can locally and it's always slightly off. I wouldn't mind an experiment if you have the same color code as me, if not, it defineatly won't match.
