For anyone wondering the difference between the filters here is a picture of them side by side. The K&N is on the left and the Honda is on the right. You be the judge.

Purolator PureOne and Wix for me.

And either one can be had for $6-9.

+1

If you do get OEM buy part number: 15400-PLM-A01 and NOT 15400-PLM-A02 (rebadged Fram filter)

But again PureOne and Wix Gold are cheaper and IMO better than the hard to find A01 filters.

Nice to know, mobile1 for my car for the past 2 years, first oil change i did was Fram and castrol.

Never had a problem with any filters/oil, as long as if you change your oil/filter between 3-8k miles you should be fine.

Even though some filters are good for 2 oil changes, I always swap out the old for a new after every oil change. It is like taking a shit and not wiping Haha.

Wait don't you want the one with more pleats for better filtering? I know it's cardboard instead of metal but if you change your oil and filter every time, the cardboard should last.

I use the Mobile 1 filter that comes with the 5 quart + filter for $35 specials that happens every few months at Autozone / Advance Auto Parts. If I need it fast and no special, I use the PureOne.
