so i has one kicker 12 comp sub, i had a nitro 800 watt amp and it blew the sub is a 300 peak power, and im really not good with this car audio stuff, what do you guys think that would be a good amp to power it? is 1000 wattage too much? please help.

Well I was putting the remote wire back in to my cig outlet because it's not wired to the ignition as that was happening my stereo and ciggarete lighter thing didn't work I guess I blew a fuse in the car so I replaced that everything was fine but the amp. It'll power up but the light that'd suppose to be green stays red. It's a nitro 800 watt amp.

It's in one of the interior panels, probably labeled "ACC" or something.
800WRMS amp is way too powerful for a 300WRMS sub, of the same resitance (Ω), but you would blow the sub before the amp for sure.
I've never heard of Nitro and it may have just kicked the bucket because it's junk, who knows. What does the manual say about the green/red light? Is it in protect mode? Usually if the amp is really dead, it won't turn on.

ratings dont mean much...you can have a "rated" amp way above the sub's "rated" power as long as youre careful on your headunit and amp settings...
i would say to check the fuses on the amp. its clear that it still turns on. the power section could have failed.
what is the impedance and voice coil arrangement on the sub? whats the minimum impedance on the amp?
and this is why you ALWAYS disconnect the battery when touching anything electrical on the car.

the fuse is on the passenger side tp right the fuse is a 20, i have a stock headunit, and the red light means protect mode, the sub is a 4ohm power handling: 50-150 watts RMS frequency response: 27-500 Hz, the amp has Built-in low pass crossover 30-250Hz 800 watts maximum output rms power 350 max.
