I'm sure you're right about the dropzones, but the struts aren't blown, they're hard to depress and then rebound back smoothly. Is there some other bench test I should try?

If they are rebounding like that then they are fine. Dropzones are crap yes. I like a stiff ride so i'd pair those with some GC's, throw them on the accord, and be done with it. Sell the Dropzones.

Those were my thoughts. I'm thinking either tein's or GC. I don't want to be slammed, just not 4X4. The 6GA seems to come almost lifted a little..haha. Though, I like stiff rides on sports cars....on the 6GA, I think I'm shooting for more OEMish comfort, so I may just trade or sell and start new. Thanks for the feedback by everyone, it's invaluable. I've been an "OG" on other forums and I can say that I'm down with this community.

IF you are going for OEMish then I would sell/trade definitely and start with something less stiff and race oriented.

i used to have kyb agx's and the ride was good no issues at all i had them paired to eibach sportline springs but didnt like the ride height it wasnt low enough. Koni yellows are better than the kyb's tho so id get those but then again i wouldnt buy a shock/spring combo again anyway.

Good advice all around. I'm looking into saving for a coilover setup. Even though I don't want to be slammed, it might be worth the investment just to have the option later (things are addicting!). I have a friend who can get me Godspeed coilovers for $400....anyone have any experience with these? To be honest, I'm not even sure if they make them for the 6GA, they only list turbo manifolds and TB's for the 6GA on their website.

BTW, allgonoshow....tons of respect for you as you are dealing with your own tragedy right now with the hail damage, and you're STILL on here helping out everyone. Not sure how this rep system works or how to give you rep, but once I figure it out, you're the first person I'm repping!

Coilovers are always the best way to go and you get what you pay for. I haven't heard of the godspeed coilovers so I doubt you'll get much feedback about those so I'd stay away from them. Whenever I recommend a set of inexpensive coilovers I recommend form & function type 1.

Gil, I was thinking about FF coils, but I've heard so mixed reviews about their QA...hold any weight?

They're fine for a daily driver, and especially if the ability to slam your ride is important to you. They can literally lay frame.

But then again, in your OP, you said you want something OEM-ish in comfort, these won't exactly provide you with that. For comfort, look at Tein Basics.
