Leaving For the Military in April... what to do with car

... so yeah basically what the title says. maybe some of you guys have insight on this ordeal from personal experience or knew friends.

-should i sell it?

-or should i take it with me after tech school?

car has 170xxx miles now. automatic. original tranny and engine. still runs good as far as i know.

now what i am worried about is the reliability of the tranny. will it go out soon you think? i have hook ups here in sacramento but moving out of state ill prolly get robbed if the tranny goes out.

Take it with you to tech school ... what did you join.. ARMY and i wouldnt be worried unless it has been giving you some problems

i wanna sell mine when i leave (end of summer, probably), but i'll need a car when i get back and might need it for a while (if im not deployed).

hold onto it, then see what happens after.

I'd leave it with someone you trust and have them start it and let it run once every few weeks while you're gone. I wouldn't sell it unless you really need the money. And if it's running/driving fine now, there's no reason it should all of a sudden stop, sounds like you took care of it.

Congrats ... and cool come to VA with your Accord... let me guess your going to Langley Air Force Base... and I cant speak for the Air force because Im in the Army and when I went to tech school they let us but in all honesty I wouldnt see why not though... +1 for computer systems MOS

Uhh...what is the actual AFSC? Pretty sure you will be going to Keesler AFB in Mississippi for Tech School.

Sell it. You wont need it for a while and its only going to keep going down in value.
